I started seriously juicing in 2009 as a way to be proactive about my health and wellness and specifically to never hear "you have cancer" again. So I get busy running the day to day and taking care of a family and forget to take care of myself often. I forget I can put myself on the chart for delivery just like everyone else. So, last Thursday, I did an event and had the equivalent of a Dtox Box left over. On Friday, my day off, I juiced all day which I rarely do. I had forgotten how truly amazing it feels to focus on myself, remove digestion energy and feel the abundance and the lightnesss and the clearness. I finished the day with my favorite candle, sipping brazil nut milk and a Dtox Bath- so deliciously indulgent. This is the perfect way to get back on track after eating poorly. It is not a cleanse but a 1 day juice feast. It can help nip a cold in the bud ,when feeling run down, or to boost immunity. A juice every two hours with intermitent fair-trade, organic green teas (dtox provided of course) to stay warm and cozy and you have a lovely day of juicing. Friday felt so good, I did it again on Monday.
Don't think of juicing as a once a month, seasonal, yearly event. Cleansing should be weekly so you can enjoy life everyday.
Dtox is more than a cleanse, it's a way of life.
Bring on Grandmother's sweet potato pie. I've earned every bite.
